This struck me too. As Anne Applebaum doesn’t mention, she wrote a classic history of the Gulag.
The CBS investigation portrays a modern concentration camp, similar to the Soviet GULAG (like CECOT, an acronym): sadistic guards, 24 hour lighting, isolation cells.
Americans once opposed this inhumane system.

Literally the only Cincinnati sports team worth supporting is FCC. The cheap ass owners of the Reds and the Bengals don’t actually deserve our support. If it weren’t for some of the best players a fan could root for these crap owners would be run out of town.
