Colleen Jones asked me to interview her a couple of months ago during a chemotherapy appointment.

She told me to write one heck of a story. I hope I did her proud.

About always believing something wonderful is about to happen.

Many of her family members, former teammates and friends will be here.

One of the reasons I love live call-in radio shows is for moments like this.

Poor Richard thought he was talking to a call screener.

He was actually talking live on air to Alberta At Noon host @kathleenpetty.bsky.social, who gently and professionally nudged him toward that realization.

Beloved wife is transit most days to get to work #YYC

Her bus has come to a stop in the middle of very busy boat trail

“Back door sensor going off - stops the bus”

That seems like an excellent safety protocol.

But

I wonder if all the snow today is blocking the sensor

Spoke to a room of lawyers and judges tonight. Told them: when many Albertans picture the UCP base, they picture you.

They were shocked — most of them oppose the democratic backsliding.

I reminded them: as long as they stay silent, that perception will stick.

All pluralists need to speak out.
