Artistic expression and creativity is fundamental to human existence. The tools for creativity may change, but creativity still springs from the heart, hands and head. The problem with AI is it's like commissioning someone else to create something you want, and getting a poor product in return. 🧵
This is something about "AI" that I have a hard time putting into words, but creators just love the WORK. It's just fun. Even when it's hard. All the thinking, and all the detail work, and all the struggle, it makes the things we make, I don't know... have weight and value for us.
If the writer’s eyes light up when asked, “why did the character do that?” then it’s real.

I love this so much. I had a history teacher who would act out parts in the class. One day he was Henry VIII, next he was playing someone from the Rebecca Riots. All of my teachers had such a love for their subjects.
while making some tea i remembered a substitute Physics teacher we had at school for a bit who'd end every lesson with a general "do you have any questions?" segment and one person asked why when you forget to boil a kettle you can tell by the sound because hot and cold water sound different

This is anti Welsh and I have cancelled my holiday in the Lake District. Why would I want to go somewhere that hates tourists? This I just going to put people off......etc etc.
