Don't take my word for it. Listen to the kids:

The percentage of Americans who "strongly disapprove" of the job Trump is doing as POTUS is 2x as large as the % who "strongly approve"

This is a pretty bearish signal for the GOP in this year's off-yr elections. & this is why he's trying to rebrand the OBBB

Trump's "strongly disapprove" numbers are record-setting (not in a good way)
Nearly a majority of Americans strongly disapprove of the job he's doing as president. That is starting to have political costs

“The fact that organized protest can break the spiral of silence, and correct our impressions of what other Americans think, is one of the most immediate and important values of protesting in the first place. Scientists have [shown] protests update our impressions of what other citizens believe.”
What a ‘Spiral of Silence’ Can Do to a Democracy
Protests show people they are not alone in caring about an issue.

On June 18, HHS said it would soon release ethics and conflict-of-interest documents for new vaccine advisers appointed by RFK Jr. to the ACIP. That group's first meeting came and went.

Now, HHS appears to be backpedaling.

NEW: I obtained a handy little flowchart on how the Trump administration plans to fund (or not fund) research about the health effects of climate change.

Out: work on why climate change is happening, climate anxiety, literacy or education
In: Health effects of extreme weather (eg wildfires)
Exclusive: documents reveal how NIH will ax climate studies
US agency guidelines nix funding for studies on climate anxiety and more but allow it for those on extreme weather and health.
