Momentum stocks getting absolutely spanked today. For example my favorite go-go ETF $FFTY -7% vs IWM -3%.
Wow, not stonks today it seems. SPX -180 bps, RUT -320 bps, highly shorted -600 bps (!).

It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

Emergency meeting at White House with congressional members to plan how to respond to Epstein emails, but not one meeting during the shutdown to address health care costs.

I mean, not surprised, but it’s just galling af. He will wage war, literally, to avoid the Epstein discussion. Just wait.

FDR would have been called a radical left lunatic by this GOP. And yet...
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

Just to be clear, a Utah judge didn’t throw out the GOP’s biased new map because of a “partisan opinion.” Utah voters approved redistricting standards. The GOP ignored them. The map violated the voter-approved rules, that’s why it was rejected.

Voters > politicians.

There’s real irony in this: lawmakers can’t get back to DC to vote to reopen the government because flights are canceled, thanks to the same shutdown they caused.

I kind of disagree here. It's Congress who got us into this. By them abdicating their constitutional responsibility of taxation, they gave Trump a green light to do this. It's the complete lack of any checks and balances which caused this.
Deeply sick stuff from Trump here. HE did this to our country. Donald Trump did it to us. HE created this fiasco!

Remember when she was supposed to be such a rising star in the party? You don't hear much from her these days
Gillibrand says she is not doing interviews when I asked if she had spoken with Zohran Mamdani since his victory.

Seems clear that Pulte 1) broke the law while going on fishing expeditions for baseless mortgage fraud claims 2) immediately removed everyone who tried to investigate that wrong-doing.

Did I just call my insurance company to let them know that, no, in fact I will not be paying the $8.31 that Aetna didn't cover for a service I didn't ask for?

Why yes, yes I did.

Putting aside whether I buy into the year-end playbook... Can we just fully take in the asset price inflation? 85% 3yr gains on stocks? It's "the rich get richer" on steroids.

But sure, let's cut food stamps and jack up health insurance premiums.
TOM LEE: Year-end performance chase likely.

Not to brag but I've been a Chuck Schumer hater since before it was cool. The guy has always sucked. Weird people are just finding out now.
Democratic organizers did our fucking part. We gave Democrats a clean sweep on Tuesday so Chuck Schumer have leverage to negotiate.

Instead, either because of malice or sheer fucking incompetence, he is letting his caucus fold like fucking cowards.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!
