Hmm. If I was super new on a job, I wouldn’t go pushing the rules to the absolute limit. But, YMMV. Wait till SCOTUS hears about this, though, Roberts will undoubtedly come down on Bove like a ton of bricks.

something you have to understand about Trump & his weird comments about the economy is that the dude hasn't paid for anything like a normal person in decades - never pumps gas, never buys groceries - so he's completely & utterly out of touch with what life is like for most of us

there is no available evidence that donald trump understands what a tariff is, what a trade deficit is, and what the national debt is.
The way Trump talks about the problems he caused by unilaterally imposing tariffs is fairly insane, even by his standards.

And even if you're right, the punishment for drug smuggling isn't death.
Rand Paul: "This is an insane policy. It's inconsistent. It's not war. It's not the way we've ever done this. If we can blow up a boat in the ocean, what about when they get to Miami & put it in a truck? Can you shoot a grenade launcher at the truck? No! We arrest people b/c sometimes we're wrong."

Indiana Republicans are under significant pressure to do something they know is wrong: rig the maps and silence voters.

Washington Republicans are demanding a "9–0 map." That’s not democracy - that’s cheating. They know it, and they’re ashamed, which is why they’re hesitating.

So incredibly sad and infuriating.
NEW: The recent government shutdown, with families skipping meals and babies unfed, could have been a preview of what’s to come when Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill shifts billions in costs for the SNAP program to states that may not be able to afford them.
How State Tax Cuts Could Lead to a SNAP Crisis
President Donald Trump’s so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act will shift billions in costs for SNAP and Medicaid to states. But with 26 having cut or eliminated state income taxes just since 2021, they may not have the money to continue the programs.

Tonight Trump is having a 6pm rally because he can’t function in the evening since he’s sun downing. At the rally Trump will tell voters that affordability is a hoax and ignore their eyes. Instead trust him. Tough sell when even the morons of MAGA see prices jumping.

But ProPublica found at least five across the country filing lawsuits and garnishing paychecks to collect unpaid bills.

The folks on Fox & Friends seemed confused about the affordability crisis. Government checks are bad when Biden sent them but Trump should send out $2000 dividend checks from tariffs but we should also lower tariffs. Trump will fix this with rallies even though he calls it a hoax
