Yes exactly. If protesters stand in front of cars, it’s fine to kill them, if someone is *inside* a car, then it’s fine for law enforcement standing in front of them to shoot them in the face.
This glib statement is all the more risible when you recall how many law enforcement officers used their vehicles as weapons against protesters in 2020... and how many Republican-dominated states *sought to legalize killing protesters with vehicles* as a reaction to the demonstrations

i am absolutely empathetic to a man whose lost his daughter. however, there is at least one other person who is an obvious participant in this child's life. and as a lesbian it is difficult not to consider the underscoring that is suggested here

My right-leaning BIL has been appalled by this and ICE overall. He said weeks ago “they were supposed to arrest criminals, not those trying to get their citizenship the right way.” This isn’t popular and your non-extremest, right wing friends and family don’t approve. Don’t give up on them.
Really worth watching this interview with a bystander who witnessed the ICE shooting in Minneapolis: "I'm pretty right-leaning. But seeing this, this is not how we're supposed to be doing things in America.”
