Update: Rhode Island HB 5186 aiming to decrim psilocybin is now effectively dead after having its only public hearing 2/7, and the committee pulling the bill from the docket for "further study" on 2/11.
Decrim has a 100% failure rate when pushed through state legislative bodies. With that said, I'll be watching this one closely, especially if/when this bill passes over to the Senate, which is where previous attempts have stalled in RI.

I don't give credit to the federal government often, BUT, the FDA did a good thing by issuing this alert on the dangers of Amanita Muscaria in food products. This is an vital step forward to protect public health and uphold the integrity of the emerging psychedelic space.

THE STATES WILL LEAD on providing legal & affordable access. Not to mention real world research @ state lvl can be done for 1/20th the cost w/ far bigger & more diverse populations.
