Glad we added a finch feeder this year. We have at least three pairs in the neighborhood. This little fella barely waited for a refill before he was back at it.

The nice thing about the Twins is that their AAA team is just over the river in St Paul, so no one has to find new apartments when they all get called up tomorrow.

The whole point of a baseball season is that it is long and no one game, or handful of games, can define that season, but holy hell this Twins season is shaping up to be absolutely miserable.

A {fun} thing about baseball players making the majors at 24-25 is that many players in this Twins-Tigers game were born during my freshman year of college.

I grew up (in the 90s) eating boiled canned green peas, boiled frozen broccoli, & a wide array of fresh garden vegetables that were boiled to mush (green beans most notably) and, every so often, I go on a semi-incoherent rant to my kids about how they don’t even understand how bad vegetables can be
