He basically got the Baker deal, but man...this is a big risk for a Seahawks team who has nothing outside of JSN and the RBs on offense
Sam Darnold has agreed to terms with the Seahawks, per source.

The top free agent quarterback available, Darnold gets the three-year deal he sought and heads to Seattle after a career year in Minnesota.

Milton Williams performance in the Super Bowl put him in the national spotlight … but he has dramatically improved his pressure success over the past two seasons.

Huge move for a #Patriots defense which is being built for a resurrection in 2025
The Patriots have agreed to terms with ex-Eagle Milton Williams, per source.

New England makes a splash along its defensive line by adding the Super Bowl LIX champion.

Moore finished with a 1-on-1 QBP rate of 10.3%, identical to Kolton Miller and slightly better than players like Ronnie Stanley and Jack Conklin.

9.6% was league average for OTs with 500+ pass blocking snaps in 2024.

Of course this is an overpay, it's FA. But I do think Moore is a fine player.

Oh this is cool! Moehrig is so underrated, can fill the alley as a run defender but also plays well in 2-high shells. Like this for Carolina
BREAKING: The #Panthers are expected to sign former #Raiders star safety Tre'von Moehrig to a 3-year, $51M contract, sources tell @NFLonFOX.

Moehrig started 64 games during his four years in Las Vegas and was one of the most coveted safeties on the market. A big addition.

D.J. Reed is an incedibly underrated corner. Played opposite Sauce Gardner but the Jets just played sides and Reed was good enough that offenses couldn't just decide to avoid Gardner.

Can play aggressively when asked, too. On 96 press snaps in 2024 (35th-most), allowed 40 yards per NFL Pro.

The #Patriots struggled tackling and stopping the run last season. Ja’Whaun Bentley proved to be a much bigger loss than many anticipated.

Robert Spillane is a dependable tackler. He is 1 of 4 NFL players with 300+ tackles over the past 2 seasons. The top Patriot has 190 in that span.

Morgan Moses has started 158 of the 166 games he’s played throughout his career.

Missed a bit of time last season, but overall a durable player at 34y/o and an experienced tackle to pair with guard Mike Onwenu on the right side of the line

#Patriots
The Patriots and free-agent OT Morgan Moses are in agreement on a 3-year deal worth $24 million. It has a maximum value of $28.5 million.

The 34-year-old Moses started 14 games last season for the Jets (RT). 158 career starts.

In the later stages of his career, structure of deal bears watching.

Lions getting D.J. Reed at cornerback is huge. He straight up outplayed Sauce Gardner at cornerback for NYJ last year. Could be the biggest FA signing of them all.

Signing Morgan Moses should lock Mike Onwenu into the RG spot.

Last year's team struggled with cohesion. This year, it is March 10th and I already know who should be the starting tandem on the right side all year long. Progress.

Outside of a handful of games, Morgan Moses has been a right tackle.

So he's probably the Patriots' starting RT while Caedan Wallace develops.

TBD still who plays LT.

I always point out that CB stat metrics are very inconsistent from year to year. Notice that includes PFF grades, see below.
On Drew Dalman to CHI @ $14m APY:

Dalman has graded out as one of PFF's top 5 centers each of the past two years and IOL grades tend to be very sticky year-over-year. If you absolutely need to spend in FA, this is a safe place to make your investments. I like it for the Bears.
