It is in no way “law enforcement” to beat up an American 10th grader and steal and sell his possessions.
This is 10th-grader Arnoldo Bazan.

A citizen.

Immigration agents grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

"We're from the United States bro!' he screamed.

Agents took and sold his phone

And when he finally got home hours later, his shirt was ripped, he neck had angry, red welts, and he sobbed.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

When a lower court judge rules that a Trump admin policy is illegal & blocks it, Trump’s DOJ rushes an emergency appeal to the SCOTUS’s “shadow docket” to get it overturned. They usually win. Emergency requests have their uses, but the Trump admin is abusing the system. And SCOTUS is letting him.
How the Supreme Court’s 'shadow docket' keeps the public – and other judges – in the dark
President Trump has submitted a record number of emergency cases to the Supreme Court’s “shadow docket,” persuading it to overturn lower court rulings that go against his administration’s policies. Slate senior writer Mark Joseph Stern warns the high court is giving Trump “unprecedented control over the federal government” with little or no explanation and even less transparency. Jeff Rosen says its use of the shadow docket “invites chaos.”

No one is safe from gun violence in America.

We do not have to keep living like this.

Instead of inciting more violence, our political leaders should use this moment to unite us around common sense gun reforms that a majority of Americans support.

Trump isn’t just losing parts of his base over the Epstein scandal, says @anamariecox.bsky.social.
It's reminding all Americans of the "moral stakes."

And when Powell calmly fact-checked Trump in real time, he “showed every damn American how you deal with a bully,” adds @walshfreedom.bsky.social.
Not even snake lady can help Trump shake Epstein scandal
Amid the fallout from the Epstein scandal, Trump is reaching deep for anything that might distract away from his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—including threatening a football team, touring the Fed, releasing MLK files, even tweeting a bizarre clip of a woman catching a snake. But this time, none of it seems to be working and his base is still demanding one thing, and one thing only: the release of the Epstein files. More importantly, says Ana Marie Cox of The New Republic, Trump is losing more than just his base—the scandal is reminding all Americans of “the moral stakes.” Even his photo-op at the Federal Reserve building—another attempted distraction from the scandal engulfing his administration—backfired big time as Fed Chair Jerome Powell fact-checked Trump’s false claims in real time. As former Congressman Joe Walsh puts it, Powell showed “every damn American how you deal with a bully.”
