The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

The move comes after Microsoft revoked ICC head Karim Khan’s email access when he was sanctioned by the US for the warrant against Netanyahu.

Patel's girlfriend performed at Penn State last weekend. A government jet arrived at State College Regional Airport, according to its FAA registration, with an address listing the FBI HQ. The plane then flew to Nashville, where his girlfriend lives.

All on the taxpayer’s dime.

uh-oh. turns out the mortgage document that the DOJ is alleging was fraudulent b/c great niece paid some rent (great niece testified she didn't) refers to "short-term rentals," which seems to blow DOJ theory that it could't be rented out of the water. Another disaster of a case.

In Feb 2025, Louisiana Surgeon General Ralph Abraham ordered the state health department to stop promoting vaccines.

Now, the news comes out that the health department failed to inform the public or even healthcare professionals about the largest whooping cough outbreak in more than a decade.
Louisiana officials waited months to warn public of whooping cough outbreak
After a whooping cough outbreak killed two infants, Louisiana health officials waited months to officially alert physicians or do public outreach. That's not the typical public health response.

This is actually remarkable data and shows the complete failure of liberal reform. Every single major police department in the country adopted new policies after summer 2020, and some were designed to be complete overhauls of police practices. It hasn't changed a thing.

That’s white folks. Nobody was uniting with YALL.

There was a time that Malcolm X had the Asian labor movement joining forces with Black folks and MLK Jr. LITERALLY was starting The Poor People’s Campaign and gaining momentum when he was killed.
Although if we’re being honest the American labor union was never that racially united in the first place (at least how I understand it). Unions constantly sold out their black members or just didn’t even let them in.

There have been zero consequences for the bad behavior.

Robert E. Lee was charged with treason & should have been hanged (the punishment for treason at the time).

Instead, he was granted amnesty by POTUS Andrew Johnson.

Admired by POTUS Eisenhower (kept a portrait of Lee in his office) & hailed as a hero by Congress in 1975 & pardoned by POTUS Ford.

On this 5th anniversary of his passing, I reflect on how America is such a different place before and after George Floyd's death.

Before, most white people claimed not to know how cops mistreat and kill us, as they demanded that cops do more of it.

Now, they demand more of it with full knowledge.

We knew this already. This outcome is a reminder that preserving police power in the US is a decades-long bipartisan project and the only way out of this is to dismantle this project. It's going to take a long time due to how entrenched police power has been in US politics and culture

The fact that the freed slaves’ Memorial Day tribute is not as well remembered is emblematic of the struggle that would follow, as African Americans’ fight to be fully recognized for their contributions to American society continues to this day.”

• This technology will revolutionize the world in 2 years - It doesn't exist, it might never exist, please give us money.

• This tech will streamline all of your business processes - you can use it to justify layoffs, please give us money.
