The person who runs this site also runs CBS News.
Not sure if there’s a relation but I’m going to go ahead and proclaim that the focus on sales as proof of good artistry must be related to this phenomenon

here is my story about how Zohran's focus on community amid the loneliness epidemic helped young people connect their politics to an organizing infrastructure, that interviewed ZM, and does not use the NYT's framing of "they don't know how to make friends" :-) and also ran 4 days before NYT's lol
Zohran Mamdani's Establishment-Fighting Campaign Built Community for Young People
“What Mamdani has done is not only inspire and mobilize young people, but he has exposed the establishment and some of their calcified views of participation and inclusion.”

It takes an astounding amount of arrogance to trade your first round pick unprotected when the last 6 years have shown that the Pelicans cannot win without Zion Williamson and that Zion Williamson cannot stay healthy

Rap: CB Sauce Gardner traded to the Colts.
I like how people who are allegedly in the same party as progressive democrats (and the dem socs) make these arguments when the republicans are platforming people who are white supremacists and Nazis…

This is an insightful and informative piece from Keith.

You can't put spilled milk back in the bottle. Replacing it with orange juice in your cereal makes everything worse.

For @spotrac.com, I wrote about the New Orleans Pelicans, how things went this wrong and how they need to start over to survive.

The Pelicans replaced a generational talent with another generational talent and got it all wrong. Where do they go from here?

Good morning.
I don't know who did this, but I love you.

Willie at least trying something new calling that timeout after a rebound hit the floor and led to a second chance 3. Usually he waits for the 19-2 run to pull that.
Maybe it’ll wrap back around next year

I keep seeing people say, oh, trans people must take a hit for the greater good and, first of all, no, you don't get to discard someone else's rights and second, we know from past experience that marginalized communities like theirs are merely the first to be targeted. They'll come for you next.

We don't cast off one segment of society to save ourselves. It's a betrayal of everything we're trying to defend. It's a cowardly kind of self-preservation.

If your plan for escaping this bank robbery involves deliberately killing a few of our fellow hostages, maybe sit this chat out for a while?
This is why Gavin Newsom is a non-starter for me.

Sure, he's "a fighter" who's landed a few good punches on Trump, but that's not the same thing as a leader.

A real leader doesn't fight back against an authoritarian takeover by using the most vulnerable as his shield.

call me crazy but i think inviting someone under federal indictment to an interview, peppering them with questions about the indictment that you know they can’t answer until you cause them to leave, then calling it a “Katie Porter moment” is not good journalism
I just had a Katie Porter moment with congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh. The interview lasted 3 minutes.
But they’ve also played like virtually no one so who really knows what the truth about this team is. I’m looking forward to week 12 against KC. It’s a good story for sure!

Think about how much further along we’d be if there was more pushback when they were testing their limits at the beginning of this term
It's becoming chillingly clear: an administration that gleefully dismantled USAID and consigned countless people to slow death by starvation and preventable disease will not hesitate to inflict hunger on tens of millions of Americans by cutting off SNAP funds.

The actual finding here is that a huge percentage of the population believes things that are not true. Democrats objectively did not spend significant time on climate change or LGBTQ issues in the last election campaign.
Duh. Those of us on the ground last year actually speaking with middle class/working class voters and who heard from these voters every single day the same - “Trump is an asshole, but Democrats are out of touch” - could’ve saved my new political party a lot of time & money producing this “report.”👇
