To anybody still using X: sexual abuse content is the final straw, it’s time to leave | Marie Le Conte
It was hard for me to quit Elon Musk’s poisoned platform, but I urge others to do the same, especially in light of Grok’s imagery of women and children, says journalist Marie Le Conte

the thing about “ICE needs training” is that Jonathan Ross was a ten year DHS vet and a firearms instructor

he’s the kind of guy they get training from

the whole institution is rotten, throw it out
Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
WARNER: It used to take 5 to 6 months to get trained. They've now lowered the training period to 47 days. Why 47 days? Because Donald Trump's the 47th president. Tell me that's a rational approach

KERNEN: I'm not taking that bait

WARNER: Joe! You can't pick your facts

That Grok still has payment processing, when everyone I know — artist or gamer or adult creator —lives in constant fear of deplatforming and debanking over the mere hint of impropriety, is utterly mind-blowing.

1️⃣ Sticking to the status quo

Greenland has been part of Denmark since 1953. Denmark’s preferred option is to give the US more presence there. Currently the US has one base with fewer than 200 personnel. Officials would also welcome more US investment. The US response, they say, has been lukewarm.

An additional note on police shooting at cars: Back in the mid-1990s D.C. police shot at people in cars for alleged vehicular attacks 54 times, leading to deaths, lawsuits, and a change in department policy to largely require that officers not shoot at fleeing drivers.
Regarding today’s shooting in Minneapolis, recall that in mid-October a federal agent shot and almost killed D.C. driver Phillip Brown under similar circumstances. The agent claimed Brown was driving towards him as he tried to flee from a police stop.

This is one of those times when social media is important. I don't trust most major news organizations to do much with this photo, even though it speaks volumes about this moment in our nation's history. But the image going viral will get it seen, and might push news orgs to use and discuss it.

Take this very seriously! Trump is "joking" about cancelling the midterm elections, is still trotting out the debunked claim about the 2020 election and is trying to blame everyone but himself. Things like healthcare were affordable under Obama & Biden. Trump is afraid of Dems.
