There are people in the world who say that there are only two genders: male and female.
But the heart and soul have much more personality.
It's very sad that people who can't accept this sometimes utter very harsh words.

Anecdotally, that “getting unstuck” moment is perhaps THE crucial moment in the student’s learning process.

Not every student gets a big valuable learning opportunity in every activity, but if they’re going to have one, this is likely it!!
The report says that AI can be helpful at all stages of the writing process, but it doesn't go into details about exactly what it does/where the boundary is with cognitive offloading. In my experience, when it helps with "ideation and conceptualization" it very quickly replaces the thinking. /2

We can’t let this be the new norm. Publishing is a tough world, but we, as publishers, need to stand up for LGBTQ+ authors, especially in this political climate. There may be obstacles to promoting and selling these books. We have to publish them anyway.

I try to keep out of politics online, especially with Shrimp Cult. SCP is about bringing joy to a world that can sometimes be dark and scary. But I can’t look away from what’s going on in the US right now, where I was born.

Love this: “Whether you’re writing a university essay or marking one, painting a picture or learning a song, the point of doing things is just that: doing them, with all the imperfections, the wobbly lines and missteps; they are the very stuff that makes us human.” thetyee.ca/Culture/2025... #NoAI

Lane illustrated our first book of 2026! His artwork is delightful, and he’s great to work with. I highly recommend hiring him!
Things aren't looking super great right now, so if you have any art you need done, I'm very available. I've worked with Ahoy, IDW, Legendary, Oni, Image, and plenty of amazing indie writers. My portfolio is down below.

Trying to find drawing reference online that isn’t an AI hallucination is getting harder and harder. I just want pictures of *real* cottages that exist or used to exist somewhere in the world. Is that so much to ask?

Hey. Yeah, you. You know that graphic novel idea you’ve been working on? We want to publish it, and we have room for one more book in 2026. We’re friendly, we promise.

okay so you know how the media has a problem with taking snippets of scientific studies out of context and writing articles which mislead the public?

now imagine a computer program is doing that when you ask it questions about scientific literature but also it makes stuff up.

AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
