seeing otherwise smart people share the story that a south carolina judge’s beach house was burned to the ground because of a ruling against trump despite there being no evidence of that has been frustrating. just because the other side has abandoned facts doesn’t mean we can, too.

A reminder to reporters, when historians look back on this moment with the president throwing himself a military parade and the people throwing No Kings rallies across America, the media sources raving about the former and sneering at the latter are going to be quoted by name.

This is your legacy!

If this doesn’t signal a state of autocracy, with a failure of all traditional checks and balances, I don’t know what does. We can still reclaim our constitutional republic, but we are not operating as one now.
It’s completely insane that US troops are illegally deployed to suppress domestic opposition and it’s not uniformly condemned by the press and political elite.

The cruelty in today's politics feels horribly corrosive. Bringing up that hard-working immigrant families — undocumented, yes, but not violent criminals — are being ripped apart based on immigration status doesn't bring compassion or even pause, but gleeful cheers.

BREAKING: Seattle. Broad daylight. A peaceful crowd.

And then—boom. Cops descend like fucking jackals. No warning. No reason.

One officer struts up to a woman using a knocked-over trash can for cover and kicks it like it’s sport. This isn’t “protect and serve.” This is target and terrorize.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

Lived the rest of his life as a man.

I was stunned when I realized this was in Irkutsk. That's deep in Siberia, over 3,000 miles from Kyiv. Russians must be in shock at how deep Ukraine was able to penetrate into Russia to cripple the Russian bomber fleet.

Remarkable scenes at Belaya airfield in Irkutsk, Russia.

Ukraine has launched a devastating attack on Russia’s fleet of strategic bombers.

The base is over 4000 km from Ukraine, but $500 drones are currently wiping out $100 million planes.
