Guille spotted a caregiver at the fence and stopped by to see if any treats were available. She’d just eaten and there was no produce left to offer, but Guille still gave it her best shot, opening her mouth in hopes that a snack would appear.

I mean, I'm never not going to tear up thinking of this painting which in the home of the astronaut who, while floating in the ISS gave some encouragement on "following passions-aerospace,art, engineering etc" & 14 yo me took that as permission to do art & aviation-as some wanted me to quit both.

And tbh, having seen art I've made people displayed in their homes/offices means so much more to me as an artist than 10k followers or whatever. The former sounds stressful.

Each January I recall that, once upon a time, the year began in March (which is why October means the 8th month and December means the 10th month).
It feels so much more sensible to start the year in spring;
That's when I want to consider my plans for the coming year.
