I'm deeply saddened to hear about the passing of the great (and fellow Sal) Sal Buscema. He was one of the first artists I ever saw draw Spider-Man; he depicted pain, joy, despair, action and drama expertly and uniquely, every time.

Marvel wasn't seeing a dime from me outside of Ultimates, and it seems that will continue to be the case. "I know this is dangerous, but look how quirky this is 🤪" is a piss poor take from one of your lead editors and shows zero commitment to defend the artists you're working with. Shame and ugly.

I try not to give Brevoort too much attention, but he’s ostensibly an influential editor at Marvel.
So it’s important to say this now: AI is not - and never will be - a substitute for the creativity, talent, and imagination of REAL writers and artists, and I condemn normalizing it.

As infuriating as the conservative SCOTUS is, never forget that America’s genocide against its trans population is the child of “moderate” liberal outlets like the Atlantic and the New York Times, and especially Jesse Singal and Katie Herzog, who made healthy careers out of polishing bigotry.

Honestly this is the whole thing. While there are some professional bigots who will never change, I truly think a ton of everyday people who have been brainwashed by the hate campaign against trans folks would stop after meeting and learning from real trans folks. That's why they wanna silence us.
