This is what it's like to live in a racist society. If the perpetrator is white, they're just some lone madman whose actions have no political implication. If they're an immigrant - in particular a dark-skinned Muslim immigrant - they represent their group and are part of a political attack.

Climate determines how, when, and where we grow crops — as well as how we allocate water, design infrastructure, plan for risk, and much more.

Climate info isn’t optional: it’s necessary. And when it’s changing so quickly, it’s even more vital. Without it, we're driving blindfolded into the future.

I’d ask my many cis-gender friends and followers to take a moment today to consider this scenario.

There are still a lot of orgs in the climate space that see it as rude, or improper, or insensitive to just come out say: do not bomb children. Do not bomb hospitals. Do not erase families from existence. Do not obliterate cities. It is wrong to kill.

Again, for anyone misapprehending what shame is: While those who opposed our current leadership may rightly feel less RESPONSIBILITY for this misrule, ALL Americans should rightly be ASHAMED that they now speak and act and govern in our names. Collectively. That is what a republic is.
I did not vote for or elect them!!!! Unfortunately a small majority of stupid Americans did.
If you are not ashamed today to be an American you are no more than a cretin, a moron, or both.

Our leaders are simply trash. And the self-loathing that any decent citizen feels from knowing this is entirely earned. We elected them.

The fact we had a classic yesterday at Twickenham and 80% of the conversation I'm seeing from fans & media is about why the two biggest stars (Who both had good games with a few errors) are dogshit is why rugby has gone so far backwards as a sport. There's no celebration, joy, just moaning.
