Starting to get sales funnel emails from a YC24 estate-management AI startup. They had to 1) scrape obituary data 2) cross reference the surviving relatives. This is so gross.

The founders aren't ✨ on here ✨ or I'd chew them out.

The dog just let out the longest dog burp I've ever heard, AND he did it while chewing on his horn, so it was amplified. If that weren't enough, he looked straight at me afterward as if to say, "What the hell was that?"

🤣

Gonna stop looking at the Epstein Files in a second because I'm frankly way too skeeved out to keep going but I will say this: the CSAM isn't blacked out nearly enough while the faces of guys in ties are obscured by vanta black rectangles the size of the sun.

David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

I was finally brave enough to visit www.bigdumbhole.com after seeing it on a sign outside Switchyards, and of course they're focusing blame on Metro Council instead of the state House. 😒

Stephen had me slip shoes on and follow him after he came in from taking the trash out.

There's deer hanging out in our front yard for the night — it looks like three does and three fawn. Not my plan when I had the fence installed this summer, but I'm okay with the mommune.

Just a reminder that at least 600 Americans were fired for failing to show sufficient respect after Charlie Kirk's murder.

Stephen had to be up early today, so when I let the dog out last night — mostly to entertain myself — I told him if he had to go out overnight, to ask me and not wake Stephen up, then asked for a paw if he understood.

That dog put himself to bed on the couch and stayed there all night!

This. This was the formative event of my generation & our entire politics in 🇺🇸. The structural break after which we were no longer a full democracy, when 5 Wizards In Robes decided they were a super-legislature & counting all the actual votes didn’t matter. The rest has been 25 years of commentary.
25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

ICE spotted in Inglewood. D7 has a large immigrant population, plus ICE targets Home Depot and we have one of those. If you see ICE call Music City MigraWatch 615-933-8409.

smart way to think about it but also, i appreciate how much ryan coogler works with, elevates and, here, credits women in his work. your average hollywood filmmaker would absolutely relate this as “here’s how i see it…” instead of “here’s how a woman i work with has shaped my thinking.”

We in US do not have a functioning upper level govt (as in president/VP etc). Our govt is Russia. When even the Pope knows it and says something- we’re in the depths of a morass we are going to have to work very hard to get out of.

After I shared some string cheese with the dog, he got off the couch and found Stephen and whined at him.

Stephen asked me, "Did you share your cheese?"

"Yes."

"Then why did he come whine to me?"

"Because you're the one who brought me cheese and HE LIKES SNACKS. He's not stupid."

My kid is standing on a step stool, gently and artfully arranging the branches of our new artificial tree (narrow, has an integrated plug for the star, and better suited for our mid-century ranch) while she softly sings Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Five is awesome.
