Just don't. The idea that Copilot or ChatGPT are suddenly essential tools is just buying into the corporate ad blitz.

Games were made just fine (well, relatively) up through...what, 2023? 2024? They didn't suddenly become VITAL for budgets or design docs in the last 2-3 years.

As the backlash to generative Al in video games continues to pick up steam heading into 2026, it'll be fascinating to see what is considered "made with generative Al." Can a dev team say thev're not using Al if thev're writing desian docs with Copilot or using chatGPT to make schedules and budgets?
