Government officials do not get to decide that your rights have become inconvenient or problematic. They are your rights. They are not privileges provided by the government and revocable at will.
ZZ has a more dynamic cast than other UC entries even if it doesn't have memeable moments like Zeta. Roux is definitely a little shit, though.

Revenue at Duolingo in 2024 was up 41% on 23 to $748M. Net income was up by 451% for same period and yet they're firing workers. We've long been at "insatiable greed" point of late stage capitalism. People may feel helpless but there's a very easy way to kick companies like this. Delete their apps.
I have completely deleted my Duolingo. I was informed by one of my kids that the company has removed most of its employees and 70% of the company is run by AI.

did you know it's illegal to say "i think someone should kill elon musk" it's also illegal to say "the best place to fire a mortar launcher at the eisenhower building would be from the roof of the mills building because of minimal security and you'd have a clear line of sight to elon's office"

In 2025 I decided to clean up my AniList account like it's 2014 because there's tons of stuff there that I've left partially completed. Idk what I'm doing with this thread, but I figured if I post about it I'm more likely to finish the project.

Been re-watching Samurai Champloo recently for the 20th anniversary. I genuinely appreciate the way it uses its anachronistic soundtrack. Multiple times across the series where I feel like I'm feeling what the characters are feeling thanks in part to the song that's playing.
