Rough last 24hrs over here.
1) worked 14 of those hours
2) cracked (and repaired) crown fully collapsed on second bite of dinner last night. Luckily no pain, but hella awk.
3) was informed midshift today my Dad's having open-heart surgery in 2.5wks. We've not been real close over the last decade+ :/

An important thing to remember is that Bluesky was started with the intention of being some sort of Blockchain scam but circumstances were against the c-suite and they ended up with an actual functional product instead and a lot of them have been insanely mad about it ever since.

Nobody wants AI. We want Mexican Coke and McDonald’s to bring back the dollar menu. That’s it, you fucking pigs. Easy.
It's truly wild to me that this just keeps happening. Coca-Cola runs an AI ad and people overwhelmingly react with disgust. They do it again, and people are disgusted again. Now McDonald's makes an AI ad that's so bad that so many people are furious about it they pull it down.

This video of an ENTIRE LECTURE HALL of students chasing this hateful piece of garbage out made my morning — highly rec. it’s a great reminder that majority of people find this stuff disgusting.
Still getting over this breakup - really messed me up something fierce, to have someone walk out of my life, and then find out how much I’d become codependent.
Last year was a “rebuilding year”, and this year is where/when that building will happen.
I’m a bit more cynical, but still an optimist! :)
