With the Epstein debacle and MAGA infighting, it’s easy to want to believe they’re waking up. But, at the end of the day, even if his base ‘turns’ on Trump, they have not turned on Trumpism, and will just turn to the next racist. Unless they turn on THAT, my grace only goes so far.

It’s an excellent book that is, sadly, even more relevant today than when it was first published.
As I noted in ONE NATION UNDER GOD, a lot of the 1950s-era campaigns to post the TC on school walls fell apart when they moved from theory to practice and had to pick a specific text. Proponents were often stunned to learn that Protestants, Catholics and Jews had different versions.
The Texas House on Sunday passed Senate Bill 10, a measure requiring the display of the Ten Commandments in every public-school classroom in the state.
