I go by the name 'Sordid Euphemism' in lots of places, and eventually settled on the moniker 'Internet Dad' after some conversations on the now overrun birbsite.
Prior names include Robin Goodfellow, Syuni D'zpecyzczn, Twilight Snarkle, and many, many others.

It's got its downsides, usually when roots are forgotten, the wealthy are coddled, or outsiders are catered to. But social media and the outlets it gave me made raising five great kids in this agonizing, alienating hellhole *possible*.
Without it, I'd have walked into the ocean long before now.

Yes. Fuck yes. It kept me alive, back when dialup was king. It kept me connected to loved ones. Taught things media never mentioned. Found family and friends and lovers and bitter enemies. It humbled me. Vaulted me to new heights. Showed where I'd been, what was possible. And it helped me find Andi.
