Couldn't read HP as a kid. At 18, living at home (circa 2008), found pirated copies cause I couldn't bring them in the house. (yeah, I've got religious trauma, why'd ya ask?). I'm on the last one & suddenly Ginny/Harry start banging. I tell a friend & turns out I read really well written fanfic.
My coworker has been unknowingly saving his Harry Potter fan fiction to a document on a shared drive. It's well written & our weekly highlight, as it includes a porn mag called the 'Hogwarts Sex Press', a magical AIDS epidemic, and a very profane Ron Weasley. I'm not reporting it

I picked this up at a book flood that local indie bookstore, Meet Cute, put on. It’s not something I would have picked up myself - there’s nary a dragon or faerie on the cover. But I’m so glad fate brought this book into my life. Delicious writing and a story that ties up nearly like a bow. #booksky
