It's pretty standard in politics to make negative comments about your opponent, then return to at least a basic level of professional cordiality after the campaign, particularly members of the same party. Snubbing one of his party members after he won is childish and unprofessional.

This should be profoundly embarrassing for @davidebybc.bsky.social and the NDP, a supposedly labour-oriented party. No fair pay for workers, but $200 mil in subsidies earlier this year for LNG/climate destruction. We didn't elect the conservatives!

This is why we can't have nice things. We need to #evictKenSim + other cops on council to resist this. Police only inflict violence and create chaos/trauma. Real/sustainable safety would come from using these funds for housing, healthcare, and education.
