3 eps in, and you may laugh, but this is the first season of Emily in Paris where I’ve thought Christ this is dogshit (I enjoy the silliness usually)

Boring, characters don’t act like themselves, truly nonsensical dialogue. Are the creators really phoning it in that much or did they just use AI?

Stop sharing Politico. They are run by an AfD member whose Trumpist views directly inform their low quality of reporting.

I bought some silver hoop earrings. Only later when I got home did I notice that the clasp on one of them was stuck together (wouldn't have been able to return it anyway).

Had the idea to try and fix it with a lighter and tweezers. Took two minutes, feeling like a boss!

My kids woke up so excited this morning for the first night of Hannukah and now yet again we have a festival where I’m very conflicted about whether it’s safe to take them to synagogue to celebrate. Communities shouldn’t have to live like this.

Wtf is going on with this Ryanair email that I thought was a phishing attempt (but I’m fairly sure actually isn’t)?

Lower-case where it shouldn’t be, using a mix of “Sie” and “du”, rogue whitespace… anything else?

Oof I’m being called out
Apple Music does not have to calculate a “listening age” because everyone who uses Apple Music is roughly 34 years old

It's fine if you don't want to fight.

But why is it that these pieces are always — without exception — so "me me me" and manage to totally ignore the fact that Ukrainians of all stripes are VOLUNTARILY enlisting to protect their homes and families, and by extension, our ungrateful arses?

I threw this angel a piece of screwed-up paper in the living room (she’s obsessed with them). 10 mins later I find it next to my pillow 🥹😭

Good morning! Remember "quiet quitting"?

Only a couple years later, it seems totally unfeasible — everyone is now concerned about their boss replacing them with AI.

Happy Monday!

Is it really such a tall order for a hairdresser not to make a subtle dig at my undercut/fringe/texture? Can anyone in Berlin recommend a salon where they just ask what I'd like and do the job? 💇‍♀️

Bonus points for sensory/ND-friendliness and vegan products, though that may be an even taller order...

Deeply disappointing and infuriating, but at this point, I am just not surprised.

'We see how these people have chosen to sit comfortably in the back rows of history and simply wait to see how the situation in Eastern Europe will develop without their participation.'
Unfortunately once again we are ending up being excluded from Anarchist Bookfair event in Berlin. And again we find ourselves in need to address the issue that come from that exclusion. The full text of the statement is available at in english and russian

We take no joy criticising a young left-wing UK political figure who has often spoken up for workers' rights and progressive causes. But these barely coherent comments from Zarah Sultana on Ukraine sum up much of what is wrong with her wing of the left www.instagram.com/reel/DQT62ys...

“You’re one of the good ones” is a terrifying sentiment because it means “I at some level think I am an arbiter of your social value” and, well, who asked you buddy
Very revealing that several Germans have got in touch to say that their chancellor’s comments about migrants were not directed at me. First of all, that would imply I shouldn’t care. Secondly, to imply that non-white races are inherently more likely to commit crime is an attack on *all* migrants.
