The impact of this AI Bubble is going to ripple through the world, people's savings, and economies it didn't deserve to touch.
It's going to be as invasive and annoying as when Co-Pilot tries forcing itself on you.
Tomorrow's premium newsletter - The AI Bubble Is A Time Bomb, with every hyperscaler facing $10bn-$20bn a quarter in depreciation in the next two years and AI startups draining all that's left of venture capital.

So...
What does this mean?
You can use religious text as a new form of freedom of speech?
This rejects the concept of secular society if we are now giving religion the free pass.

I love that he couldn't even think of a different shape but was just like, 'Yeah, just flip it around mate.'

I also love when the grift is funny and lazy. It makes it heaps more accessible for those on the fence.

First CES panel. Intuit CMO Thomas Ranese is proud of his company's integration with OpenAI, which involves giving AI read/write access to tax data. Since prompt injection attacks are unavoidable, I asked him who will be liable when customer data is exposed: Intuit, OpenAI, etc?

He had no idea.

Trump held up a printed picture of people lifting body bags and said, "These are all white farmers that are being buried.”

The image actually shows humanitarian workers burying bodies in the city of Goma in Democratic Republic of Congo. They are not white, not farmers, and not South African.

Every single AI company is the "discount prices" skit from Tim and Eric. Perplexity spends $102m to lose $68m a year. Incredible stuff. This is the future! Also check out how they're providing $27m in discounts - Uber One customers, free months for students, etc. These companies all STINK!

The Libs and Nats have split. Our 2pp system now looks like this. Here's my 2 cents as to why the Nats left after a ~50 year collab.

1. Bargaining power over policies.
2. Leadership issues aka sexism against new leader Sussan Ley.
3. Bolster safe seats in regional Aus.
4. Sharks be smelling blood

Australia made a big call on the weekend. There's plenty to say but there is plenty more to do. Here's hoping that the @australianlabor.bsky.social recognises that the next three years are crucial. There needs to be a push of progress over purely 'sensible'. The kids want change. Be that for us.

#auspol Update:
Peter Dutton - Aus Liberal Leader and running for PM - is hopefully going to be under scrutiny this week for buying shares in 3 of 4 big banks in Aus days before a $120b govt bailout during the '08 GFC.

He hadn't made any trades for 3 years before this.
