Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is doing his best to hold back tears on the field at Yankee Stadium. He is losing that battle.

This means more to him than anyone on the Blue Jays’ roster. He committed to 14 years with the Jays and was rewarded with the deepest playoff run of his career.

Stumbled on this post - God bless you guys, those 95 days must have been so hard but look at you now! My son was born 6 weeks early, no NICU but he required very frequent hospital visits for blood draws and such. Now he’s 10, super robust and it feels like a distant memory. Enjoy this time. 💙

Man, I feel great for the Blue Jays. They missed on Ohtani and Yamamoto, and as recently as the spring everyone was speculating as to where Vlad Jr. would end up at the end of the season. Now look at them. The vibes are immaculate.

I thought the Yankees had a good chance to win these two games at home.

If I’m Blue Jays, I THINK I’m resisting the urge to pitch Gausman on short rest in G4 so I have both him and Yesavage fully rested for possible Game 5 in Toronto vs Gil and Fried (3 days rest). But a tough call there.

I get that when you can make someone a starter, you do that. But man, Misiorowski could be like a Mason Miller style weapon out of the bullpen pumping in 104 all the time. Look what pitching in relief has done for Sasaki too.
