Sport, boringly so. Motor racing, football, athletics, basketball, cricket, and so on. Also over on Substack.
Every picture I've seen of the Chelsea interim manager over the past couple of days just shows someone who looks like he's thinking, "Yeah. I'm doing this now. FML."

Great F2 driver, hamstrung by trashy F1 cars (although I loved Osella for their spirit and their commitment to recycling old cars every year!)
#HappyBirthday Beppe Gabbiani, 69. He entered 17 #F1 GPs, for Surtees & Osella, but sadly he DNQ’d for all but 3. Pic: in the Osella during quali at Hockenheim in ’81. How do I know it’s quali & not the race? Well, without wishing to be uncharitable, that’s easy: he DNQ’d!

Most football podcasts are like this.

This is a pretty decent Christmas present from my wife. The World Cup literature run starts here and the bar has been set high by @simonkuper.bsky.social

Stockton v Hebburn for me.
Boxing Day with fewer/no top flight fixtures could be a new lower/non-league day. Lots of more affordable local games for people to attend wherever they're spending Christmas.

100% this. The point isn’t the football but the afternoon out. When else are you bringing your gran to the football?

Being what's left of Autosport I suspect this will simply be a gold chocolate coin from a pack bought from The Range.

Currently on my third watch of Tron Ares and what a damn fine movie it is. And that Nine Inch Nails soundtrack is just ace.

I was tagged and asked to take a look at this claim - cos, well just look at it!🙄

Does it seem plausible that THE Trocadero is going to be turned into a Mosque?

It was pretty easy to debunk but I decided to do a deep dive into the reality AND the appalling press coverage

If Italy keep up this scoring rate they will have the 9-0 win they need to automatically qualify for the World Cup. 1-0 after 10.

Recommend me some good football podcasts please. Anything really, so long as it isn't football ramble related.

It's a tough call but I'd argue Villa are grimmer than Man United right now.

When Apple TV Studios inevitably make 'Premier League: The Movie', they will get Colin Farrell to play the role of Fulham manager Marco Silva.

Norwich reject but as is always the way with Club Brugge, here's another example of a player who has turned very good there.
🚨 EXCL: Crystal Palace approach Club Brugge for Christos Tzolis as option (like El Khannouss) to replace Eze. Offer rejected but #CPFC plan to raise bid + also talking to 23yo’s camp. Recently signed new deal so #Clubbrugge not keen to sell

Wilding lawns is an underrated way of stopping racecars.
There was a heart-stopping moment for Derek Daly on lap 12. The Irishman's Tyrrell-Ford ploughing through a field (after a front brake disc broke) & going under a barbed wire fence. Barbed wire ending up wrapped around the roll bar...

Please give up 80-100 evenings and weekend days over the season…

Wait, what? You thought you’d get paid 😂
