Oh dear
I have just learned the acronym STABLE (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy) in reference to craft supplies, and it is so rude of the English language to call me out like that

Yesterday several of us helped an older gentleman who brought in a list of books on his laptop. We all looked at his search bar, noticed "grok," sighed internally, checked actual catalog to correct various levels of fuckery & lies, & gently chatted with him about Not Doing That Again. Hope it took.

Favorite line delivery?

There does not seem to be a GIF of Campbell Scott in The Imposters saying, "It has made me also ... moist" but that would be it

Have had a slowly developing friendship with a work colleague who is also an All Things Horror fan and today they asked me to eat lunch with them sometime soon! And when I emailed back with my schedule I used a smiling ghost emoji and they replied with a bat emoji and AAAAAAAA! New frand!

a fascinating question!
Question for any romance novel history people out there: does anyone know who might have been the first romance author to write/publish strict dual POV, ie: in equally distributed, alternating chapters? (Or, first-ish, I know tracking firstness in literature is complicated)

Feel free to RT/boost

I feel so JUDGED when we're doing a rare Big Cleaning and the dog follows me around the whole time looking extremely worried, like "What's WRONG? What are you DOING?"

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Andrew Bird before today and I was NOT expecting him to look like a Hot Cop Dad from a CW teen show?!? DAMN. (My general ACAB sentiment has a carveout for fictional hot cop dads.)

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

Anybody getting aurora action in Virginia tonight?

Had a very cozy day--cleaning, knitting, yoga, couple of eps of Interview with the Vampire. Then a cold dog walk followed by making a really good batch of chili. Queen of Cozy, c'est moi.

There seem to be 2 people registered to primary Mark Warner. 1 of them I can't even find a campaign website for, and the other one... My dude, I *truly* WISH the world was different, but if you're running in Virginia you probably shouldn't have taken your campaign photo with the nose ring still in.
