Fellow faculty: how much time do you spend prepping lectures for a new course? The last 3 I’ve taught have been around 6-8hrs of prep for each hour of lecture. 🧪🔭

I'm at a museum; I do activities and lectures for university groups.

Generally, a day of prep will get me an hour to ninety minutes of presentation.

Interactive programs take maybe three or four days if I already have a pretty solid grasp of the material.

Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.

There are so many confusing things here. Why is there a bot involved? Why did the birds have dead bats in the first place? How were the bats brought to life, and what were the undead leading? Why would ANYONE light a bat on fire? Why is it surprising that birds chased the "starter" of the fires?

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

17 year old Vincent Battiloro is charged with first degree murder.
