i personally thought it was obvious to everyone that no player, no matter the offense, should return RIGHT after their ban.

I've said it before, but I sincerely think we need a mindset shift so that being part of the splat community is seen as a privilege, not a right. You don't get to play in tournaments run by volunteers for free if you're going to be a racist blowfly. Readmittance has to be truly earned, not assumed.
My thoughts on the recent matters not just today but with banned players overall. I don’t usually give an opinion, but I’m tired man.

The amount of professionalism it takes for a black person to have to commentate a Jackpot set then a set with a racist player. Ill never get why dapple thinks its acceptable to never acknowledge problematic people in their tourneys and why were all just okay with platforming racists again.

I need to start boosting black voices again in Splatoon comp, but I have to work on not being a coward and call out bigoted people having a token friend say they gotten better in dms/irl interactions I will never see to justify coming back instead of making a statement with humility. (1/2).

I think people discussing “super star bias” about Sakurai also should talk about the Gooey shaped elephant in the room and not just Magolor and Susie. His only involvement in the dark matter trilogy was voice acting DDD in 64.

Guys, wouldn’t it be cool if there’s a Splatoon comp out there with like a trick room mode? A set of weapons that can absolutely play the long game or just completely break through defenses, decided on what gives the other team the most brain damage.

I feel like Splatoon devs need to remember that you can sponges in places more in order to create more uninkable terrain that is at least great to swim through if they're so afraid of flanks with regular turf affecting the special economy. And as retreat options on so many drops of death.
