There’s obviously more canonical classics but when I think of the reach of The Beach Boys, it’s in this 55-year-old song, so ahead of contemporary sounds that if you heard it in a mix of modern alt-rock today, it wouldn’t be out of place. Only a genius could time travel like that. RIP Brian Wilson.
