This is the fifth GOP congressperson I’ve seen criticizing Trump’s post on Rob Reiner, and the first who isn’t either leaving the House (MTG, Bacon), a frequent critic (Massie), or in a swing district (Lawler).

Trump doubles down on his Rob Reiner attack: "I wasn't a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person... He became like a deranged person, Trump Derangement Syndrome. So I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country."

Trump on Brown University: You would really have to ask the school about that because this was a school problem. They had their own guards, their own police, their own everything but you would have to ask that question to the school and not to the FBI.

The Fight For Democracy Will Be A Long War Of The Unknown Warriors

It makes me glad to see Rob Reiner is being praised not just for his amazing movies but for his activism as well. Not just for amazing art but for being a good person.

But hey, enough of my yakkin’. Much respect to a man who always understood what was important.

Jones: Everything you hear from Tuberville is framed as a sports analogy. When you view everything that way, you’re always stuck in an us-versus-them, winners-versus-losers mentality. That’s how he operates.

Molder: The best example of this being all about Ogles and Trump—in Ogles’s world—is that he introduced legislation to allow Trump to have a third term, which is clearly designed to get attention and to do something that is contrary to our Constitution in favor of a president he is a puppet of.

Speaking ill of the dead is controversial, particularly when it was a violent death. It’s edgy; it’s sensitive; best avoided in most cases, etc.

Baselessly making another person’s murder *about yourself,* and then approving of it, is a different thing. That is delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic.

Trump is a sociopath, a profoundly sick man.
As the film world and people of good taste around the world mourn the sudden death of legendary director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer, President Donald Trump jumped to make the apparent double homicide about himself.

One of the lesser-known quotes from Stephen Miller is this, which we unearthed:

"If you import the Third World, you become the Third World."

Compare Miller's language to Pat Buchanan's, as we did here, and it matches up quite precisely. All that's missing from Miller's version is the word "white."
Steve Bannon tells us that among Stephen Miller's leading intellectual influences are Pat Buchanan, Oswald Spengler, and Samuel Huntington.

So we did a side-by-side comparison of some of Miller's language with Buchanan's.

I’ve been guilty of this too, but when I read people say, even though they’re trying to be nice, like “I disagree with Rob Reiner politically, but I am sad by his loss.”

Why do we always feel the need to talk about whether we agreed with somebody politically or not?

Two people are murdered and this is how the president responds. Not with empathy or leadership, but with mockery and self-worship. It’s a moral abyss and he keeps digging. Anyone still defending this ethically bankrupt, frightened, sad little excuse for a man is telling you exactly who they are.
