I recommend using twenty year old ivory resume paper for your ransom notes. It’s hard to trace and something about the added weight brings a sense of heaviness to the whole situation.

Lens flare garden ghosts.

A nighttime photo of my garden with the only two sheets I had available to protect the cucumbers and one row of peppers, women and children first. The phone’s camera captured the waning full moon with a lens flare resembling a smile.
