As usual, anything Ford promotes needs to be taken with a very healthy dose of skepticism.

The ads are fake, the promises have no data behind them, and the potential environmental damage is ignored.

Man, that asshole sure does love his concrete!
For your consideration as to whether you opt to complain to the Competition Bureau:

We all know Ford is an abject liar.

The amount of money being thrown at corporations (particularly developers) through this boondoggle and many others (OSC, Ontario Place, stupid tunnel, the 413, the Greenbelt, ad nauseam) and then tossed back to the “government” is like a game of hot potato.

Grateful to the team at @newpublic.org for this thoughtful convo on how (and why) we're building Gander Social:

rethinking digital infrastructure, public spaces, and how shared values can shape better online experiences.

And, you know, building an app people actually feel good about using.
What would a 100% Canadian social media platform look like?

The team at @gandersocial.bsky.social is about to find out. By giving Canadians control over their data, their feeds, and more, they’re hoping to offer a viable alternative for American social media.
