I don't know current council enough to comment, (moved to Moreton Bay) but Gold Coast was dire. Tom Tate a hotelier, most others estate agents/developers, and them trying to get the evangelical Right inside, promising 7 Mountains Christian Nationalism.

Over 40,000 sects of Xianity. Many splintered from original Euro churches, but not recognised by those churches. E.g. Protestant & Catholic churches (& group associations) say obsession with demons, Satan, and ignoring Jesus teachings isn't Xianity at all. Looking at SCOTUS and GOP, have to agree.

In his first interview as CEO of our council Constance made it pretty clear he has no idea what the job is IMHO. He talked about capital not community, business and development but not ratepayers residents or their issues. He is a politician not an administrator.

1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

2. Why can’t we afford to not fuck millions of people over with expiring insurance subsidies?

3. Why is none of it being used to help the abysmal job market?
