I'm going to need this to be talked about daily, local news needs to bring this up any time they talk about Demuth.
Let's put it on billboards, make some ads.
"Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth said Monday that her caucus steered YouTube creator Nick Shirley to day care sites in Minnesota"
Demuth: GOP caucus directed YouTuber to Minnesota. A professor explains why it went viral
University of Minnesota media law professor Jane Kirtley says the new viral video is flashy but absent of facts to back up its claims.

A judge has ordered the release of Twin Cities independent journalist Georgia Fort this afternoon, rejecting the U.S. government’s claims that her allegations constitute a crime of violence that necessitate keeping her detained.

Along with independent journalist Georgia Fort. Don’t let her be written out of this.
Journalist Don Lemon was arrested in LA after he livestreamed an anti-ICE demonstration in St. Paul, MN earlier this month that interrupted a church service.

This is an outrageous authoritarian breach — and a clear cut violation of the 1st amendment.

Our rights are under attack.

Taking care of your neighbors is universal
Much love to the rural Minnesotans helping THEIR neighbors, too.

Bears repeating that while Minneapolis gets the most attention, it's exactly the same situation in St. Paul and very similar in many suburbs and smaller towns around the state (and, obviously, outside MN)
Rural Minnesota isn’t staying silent.

As ICE expands raids into small towns, neighbors, faith leaders, and students are stepping up to protect Somali communities and each other.

👀
So Nick Shirley harassing day cares is heroic, but Don Lemon reporting on a protest at a church is a felony?

And it's impossible to pretend like it isn't happening
One of the hardest things to explain to people who aren’t here is the very real feeling that we are in a war against the federal government. Not only are we occupied by unaccountable armed, masked paramilitaries, but we are constantly aware our neighbors might be abducted in the blink of an eye.
Was he actually approaching Minnesota as a regime change

Lying liar lying with every breath
Tom Emmer lies about his own constituents: "If you go to my state, the pictures you're seeing of these mobs in Minneapolis, these are paid agitators and protesters. Yeah, you got some Minnesotan anarchists that are in there, but they are people coming from outside our state."

Some things to understand about people from Minnesota on here right now, a short thread:

@racketmn.com is the real deal. Worth supporting with follows/subscription (if you're able).
Thanks to our pals at Coyote for talking with us and making us sound reasonably coherent.
"This is the worst fucking time. But watching people's response to ICE has just been the most affirming thing in the world.” We interviewed our friends over at @racketmn.com about what it’s like to cover the crisis in Minneapolis as community-centered journalists

Yes, I like my community and neighbors to be safe from masked paramilitary goons terrorizing us.
Gov. Landry: "I like to ask Democrats if they like their communities to be dangerous or safe. Do they want their children to be able to walk to school or do they want to worry if they send them on the sidewalks, that unfortunate violent things are going to happen to them?"
January 29, 2026 at 4:30 PM
"...in theater..."

Come again about rhetoric?
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down
January 29, 2026 at 4:13 PM
Only true thing he's said. Though it might take a bit, justice will come. In this life or the next.
Q: Are you going to be arresting the leadership of Signal chats that are organizing the attacks against you?

HOMAN: The organization and funding of attacks on ICE -- they will be held accountable. Justice is coming.
January 29, 2026 at 1:57 PM
BALONEY!
CNN: How did we get to a place where we had Bovino having Border Patrol agents stopping citizens in interior of the country, asking them ID, creating fear? Who made the decisions to allow this kind of operation to proceed?

HOMAN: The reason for the massive deployment is bc of the threats & violence

You walk into this bar and show your ICE mugshot, you don't pay a dime.
Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

See, the “immigration crisis,” “border emergency” etc - it’s 100% made up. There is NO crisis except panicked, violently racist white people. That’s it.

All this suffering and death is caused by that and only by that. The rest is bullshit: an excuse to grab power by a white supremacist regime.

I know all eyes are on Minneapolis, but there's a fast-approaching nightmare in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump is revoking protected status for tens of thousands of Haitians living there on Feb. 3.

Reportedly, on Feb. 4, 1000 ICE agents are arriving to remove this population. Ethnic cleansing.

We want our neighbors home
These are Minnesotans. We want them to come back. We want this to be a place they would want to return to.
Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.

This is white hot fury in Minnesotan.
A retired Minneapolis couple who had guns pointed at them by ICE in a church parking lot.

"They were obviously not trained at all. I've known many police officers in my life. These people were right off the streets."

"They had the professional demeanor of criminals."

This is our reality. Monitor your risk profile and take appropriate steps.
Last week, my office released the following consumer alert on how Minnesotans can protect their digital privacy from DHS agents.

I urge all Minnesotans to take steps to protect themselves online from the federal government’s overreach and lawlessness.
