Beautiful Railway Bridge of the River Spey!
Alas! I am very sorry to say
That dog-walker's favourite has been taken away
On a stormy Sunday in December
Which folks will struggle to remember.
Historic rail viaduct collapses into River Spey
The Spey Viaduct forms part of the Speyside Way trail and is popular with both walkers and cyclists.

Is there a Hoax podcast email address to send photos of the Cottingley Fairies exhibition to? Asking for my wife, who's a huge fan already and is desperate to get a shout-out on the podcast :D

Loving the Trump administration's The Man Who Was Thursday LARP - very bold, very exciting for players and crew - but publicising it through the Atlantic seems like a bit of a gaffe.

Just a reminder: having a functional moral compass right now is going to make you feel bad all the time; don’t mistakenly hate yourself for that.

For a few years now I've been increasingly suspicious of the way Neil Gaiman seems to be attempting to position himself as the inheritor of Terry Pratchett's legacy, so I wanted to write a little about that & why speculation about whether PTerry knew he was a creep kind of misses the point (small 🧵)

i think once you hit $1 billion it should be legal to keep the money, but also legal for everyone else to be able to hunt you down like a dog. running man type shit. its open season as long as you're over $1 billion.
It should be unfathomable that so few have so much (& so much power). We need action to stop the unfettered growth of people with tens and hundreds of millions and billions. Billionaires' wealth grew by $2 trillion in 2024! #inequality #equality www.theguardian.com/news/2025/ja...

Today in Milan, a student activist group hung a trash-filled effigy of Musk upside down on a gate outside of piazzale Loreto, where Mussolini's body was displayed in 1945.
They left the message: "C'è sempre posto a piazzale Loreto, Elon" (There's always room in piazzale Loreto, Elon)
