Food insta used to be mostly people using too much cheese and then elaborately pulling it apart, but now it seems to be scraping a knife on something crispy and then putting a microphone next to your mouth to exaggerate how crunchy something is.

Crispy is the new gooey I guess?

Either your spotify wrapped is mostly artists no one else has heard of and you're a weirdo, or it's mostly artists everyone knows and you're basic. There is no third option.

A reminder that while buying things for a foodbank is a good thing to do, a better thing to do is give the money straight to the foodbank. They can buy what they need wholesale and a supermarket doesn't make a profit from their in-store collections.

It just took me 46 attempts to successfully plug in my Coros watch. Not an exaggeration, I counted. It's such a good watch otherwise, how can the charger be so bad?

I've always worried about what if your surprise clonk to the back of the head just kills them, or they hit their head again when they land? Why are they always so confident their strike was perfectly measured? That's not how that works at all.
That’s not how concussions work.

If a dog does a big stretch and no one is there to say "ooh big stretch" did they really do a big stretch at all?

I'm just a simple southern lad with no respect for corners, the middle bits, or any of the north or east. Sorry.

Got my hair cut. Barber asked if I'd considered a hair transplant. Probably won't go back.

This is my PBs converted to VDOT by distance, which shows just how absurd my mile PB is.

I make charts because I'm fun.

I've been watching Psych on Netflix, which isn't great but easy to watch. Now it's leaving Netflix in a month and I'm going to need to watch 80 episodes. I am not a binger and this goes against all my instincts.

Played a bit of football this week. The highlight by a long way was an opposition player losing his head and mouthing off at the ref who then ordered "come here" so he could be booked.

Player angrily shouts back "you come HERE" and we fell about laughing as he got sent off.

It's always worrying to find things like this. It must be important for attaching something to something else, and I guess I'll just have to wait and see what falls apart.

I'm really surprised this doesn't happen more often. Not that I'd ever get one, but I'd turn it down for the same reasons.
