...like, much of the clutter in my place is half-finished projects where I hit a snag, something I needed to research more or some part/tool I had to get, that I never got around to, so I just leave it out in plain view as a reminder, in hopes that'll eventually stim me to actually finish it. 😅🤣😭

Maybe it's a novelty & momentum thing? Like, if it's a new challenge, we can get into it & ride that wave as long as we stick with it, but once there's a lull & we let it drop, it can become almost attention-repellent. Ah, the fickleness of neurospicy hyperfixation... 😅

Sadly, for many voters, facts & logic alone do not sell themselves. As far as the GOP has taken emotional, persuasive rhetoric & framing backed by no facts or logic whatsoever, imagine what Dems could do with those tools *also* backed by facts & reason? They have got to learn how to "sell reality".

A hypothetical I've been wondering about: what if that funding had gone towards expediting legal immigration—e.g., hiring immigration judges & case workers, expanding facilities capacity, etc.—rather than expediting detentions & deportations? 🤔

There is a gulf in America. I submit it is the gulf between good and evil, or at least not-evil and evil.

The gulf is not just between people who oppose this and people who are indifferent to it or reluctantly accept it in support of immigration policy or see it as collateral damage.
