Agreed. Trump’s idea for Waltz to be UN Ambassador while Rubio takes on the vacated role reflects how unimportant he thinks cabinet jobs & responsibilities are & how loyalty to him is the main qualification for his cabinet. That’s true in all his appointments, which have nothing to do w/ competence.

So, what these guys want is for citizenship to work like your cable subscription. Terms change without warning, cost goes up every year, fees on everything, content getting worse, customer service is awful, and quitting is so hard you give up and keep paying. No rights, no common good. CEO is God.

Reminder that the US didn't lose "38,000 lives" building the Panama Canal, or even the estimated 5,600 who died on America's watch. Almost all who died were underpaid Afro-Caribbean workers living in U.S.-imposed conditions of segregation.

Also China doesn't control the canal.

With Elon Musk, an unelected plutocrat, six weeks from becoming co-President of the United States, many people are just starting to research who he really is—that is, beyond the basics most already know.

Or, rather, think they know—as most of those basics are untrue.

This thread reveals the truth.
