“It’s time to change the framework we use to assess the value of public transit, so it factors in health and social benefits that come from greater equity, reduced sedentary behaviour and less air pollution.”

Transit fares are going up. Why do Canadian cities struggle to keep it affordable? | CBC News

Solstice comes from the Latin words “sol” (sun) and “sistere” (to stand still). It reminds us that rest and stillness are essential parts of natural cycles, allowing renewal to take place beneath the surface. It symbolizes hope, resilience, and the promise that light always follows darkness.

#MEDIA: Canada’s updated methane rules fall short.
Methane is 80x more potent than CO₂ in the near term, and companies already say near-zero by 2030 is possible. Delays to 2028+ and weaker standards risk real climate progress.

The shift to EVs is happening—fast. Manufacturers can either embrace the long-term transition or chase short-term gains by clinging to petrol and diesel.

China is choosing the long view. Many in Europe aren’t. The risk? Ending up with cars no one wants, lost market share, and shuttered factories.

Bike-lanes don’t cause traffic congestion.

Car dependency, dumb land-use sprawl, too many (& bigger) cars being driven too much taking up too much space, highly subsidized driving costs, and not enough choices in how to get around, ALL cause traffic congestion.

Think about it. THAT’S common sense.

Now he is using Stephen Harper's lines about becoming an "energy super power."
