The National Catholic Reporter publicly labeled JD Vance a “moral stain” on the Roman Catholic faith. The blistering piece went on to point out Vance's “twisted and wrongheaded view of Christianity” for inflaming tensions by maligning a woman killed by ICE rather than promoting healing.
Catholic Vice President Vance takes to social media to justify killing of Renee Good
After the tragic shooting of Renee Good at the hands of ICE, the Catholic vice president of the United States took to social media to justify the killing.

ICE relies on companies to help carry out its thuggery — we need to go after these private sector collaborators

Here are our suggestions for corporate targets and campaign tactics

Want to Stop ICE? Go After Its Corporate Collaborators
ICE can’t function without help from the private sector. So we should force the private sector to stop helping.

They killed a young poet on a street while a university in Texas forbids teaching Plato (among other things), and president can’t stop talking about buying an island that has no desire to be sold. That was the first week of the year in a strange country getting stranger by the hour, my Horatio.

Not a joke. This is happening now.
“A research university that censors Plato abandons its obligation to truth, inquiry, and the public trust — and should not be regarded as a serious institution of higher learning.”

It's a really scary time. Our president is rattling sabers across the globe. Government thugs are shooting people in the streets.

This is a good week to go to a meeting in your community, in person if possible. Be with others and remember: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

What a shithole country run by corporate fascists.

In today’s Vatnik Soup, we introduce our first Czech vatnik, Tomio Okamura. He’s best known for building a political career on xenophobia while being of mixed origins himself, and for pushing Kremlin narratives in Czechia, a country otherwise very supportive of Ukraine.

Czechia disappoints. Why did they put this pro-Russian lunatic in charge?
🇨🇿🇺🇦 Czech PM Babiš: From the Czech budget we can no longer give money to Ukraine, because we do not even have enough for our own school cooks or informal caregivers.

If someone claims that Russia can be defeated, experts say that is not possible.

Map of the flight paths of Russian cruise missiles and ballistic missiles throughout 2025.

What 361 out of 365 days of Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure in 2025 looks like.

The scale of missiles launched and the cities targeted is beyond horrifying.

Here's to actually supporting Ukraine and not just expressing concern. To building a Europewide economy and not just standardizing parcel sizes. To a sovereign EU Parliament and not just intergovernmentalism. To a year when three things hang from the Kremlin: the EU flag, the Pride flag, and Putin.

you can count on me and my team to continue working relentlessly to make Europe stronger.

I’m genuinely so happy that at least part of our country can gather like this - all thanks to the people defending us this Christmas.
