The USPS faces a tight squeeze. With fewer people using the mail, it’s lost more and more money: $9 billion in the 12 months ending in September alone.

I would like to see just one journalist quote Charlie Kirk’s problematic comments to Matt Shaw and ask him to respond.
Making a decision to participate in a political movement that's anathema to many Americans — including a large percentage of Cubs fans — only ensures that Matt Shaw will remain in the spotlight in 2026.

Once again a reminder: We can have trans rights, bodily autonomy, gender nonconformity, and freedom of expression, or we can have none of these things.

There’s no third option.

He's also responsible for raising all the money that paid for bringing Hollingsworth v. Perry & even more importantly Bostic v. Schaefer, which created the circuit split that forced SCOTUS to take on Obergefell v. Hodges. The role he played in American marriage equality cannot be overstated.
The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

so, this right here? this is one of the absolutely most lawless, brazenly unconstitutional impeachable offenses ever committed by any president other than trump in the history of our country.

like, this is an open and shut case. and it's a case which targeted *republicans.*
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

how many times have we gotten a clearly stated “we’re firing you for an inappropriate relationship” in college football, because it’s definitely a lot less than the number of times said relationships have happened

Welp, yeah, that'll do it. Time to spin the coaching carousel back up again.

Athletic directors being the ones who decide which teams play in tournaments is still so weird. Who the hell asked the guy whose job is Take Money And Give It To Coach. NFL playoffs should be booked by one of Jerry Jones' kids
This highlights a horrid problem that spans all of college football: conferences are “advocating” to the committee (which is comprised of their own ADs).

One (of many reforms) to consider is banning advocacy / campaigning. They are not even trying to hide that the process is political.

these deals are always terrible for product quality, consumers, art and labor, but this is always downplayed in coverage.
