Tomorrow’s going to be a good stress test of the press. El Salvadoran President Bukele will visit the White House. At the press availability, every Q ought to be about Abrego Garcia: where is he now? Did US ask you to return him? etc. WH will hate, maybe try to prevent, so all should band together.

The president is posting before 7 am, but not directly mentioning the cratering stock market. A lot of investors/traders are going to read this as deliberate indifference; he is just fine with wiping out retirement accounts. I've reached out to Treasury and WH and heard nothing so far this morning.

We expected hundreds of thousands of people yesterday.

Instead, millions of Americans flooded the streets to demand an end to Trump’s authoritarian power grab.

Trump and Musk have spent their first 75 days in office trying to overwhelm us and make us feel powerless, but we’re not going anywhere.

So we’re 75 days into trumps second term, people are protesting everywhere. Markets have had two days of absolutely apocalyptic losses. There are grad students being disappeared and a man with an autism awareness tattoo was sent to a super scary prison in El Salvador. They’ve cut cancer research..

DOJ attorneys who are going into courts and arguing that Trump's unconstitutional executive orders are constitutional are violating their oath to "support and defend the Constitution" and are abdicating their responsibility to represent the interests of the American people. Absolutely SHAMEFUL!

Bessent is a craven careerist and coward if he believes Trump is harming the economy and says nothing and goes along with this.
Talked to a business friend deeply involved in CEO world, knows Trump and Scott Bessent. Calls Trump “a drunk driver taking the economy off the cliff into a needless recession,’ says Bessent told him he agrees. Predicts “he’ll be the shortest tenured Sec of Treasury in history.”
