I looked at the moon just this morning and have no regrets. Would recommend to a friend
Preach. Stop talking about the Moon. Just look at it. Perfection.
The moon seems to have a dedicated PR team, with news outlets hyping Wolf Moons, Super Blood Moons, Cold Moons, and more, Kaitlyn Tiffany writes. She explores what's behind the moon hype:

Today’s #AutumnArrivalSpotlight is the Jack Snipe…master of the stealth and wobble! 👀

These charming little waders sneak into wet meadows and bogs from northern Europe, bobbing up and down as they feed along the water’s edge.

How's that for a Friday smile?

Every now and then I'm reminded I should watch more Neil Jordan films. Michael Collins is a bloody good film. Wondering what I should watch next

This is the rhetoric that politicians from Starmer to Farage have normalised and emboldened.

Racism, hate and division dressed up as ‘legitimate concerns’.

We will fight back. And we will defeat their politics of hate.

Liberal politicians, I hope you're taking notes. Does this come across as a stronger or weaker stance to the public than the Reform appeasement peddled by Labour? Do you think voters respect strong convictions or do they want a government who drift with the tides?
This, from the Quakers, is a pretty good example of how to resist pressure from bigot lobbying groups. Effectively “we legally can allow trans people to use the loo, we morally should, and we tried it and nothing bad happened”

few artists in the american metal scene produced anything as raw and impactful as gin, or any of the last three cobalt albums for that matter
Just found out about Erik Wunder passing, of Cobalt and Man's Gin. Horrible news, can't really find the words. Gin was for me, as for many others, a landmark stop in my musical path. Had the honor of talking with Erik about that album and more a while back. Rest easy

This is Ando. He's been a high-risk explosives detection dog for 6 years, and last week he celebrated his final day on the job. His coworkers threw him a surprise retirement party by showering him with dummies, a special reward that detection dogs are trained to love. 14/10 congratulations Ando
