Abortions are safe.

Abortion is healthcare.

Period.

Does your last name today match the last name on your birth certificate? For 69M married women who changed their last name, the answer is no.

The GOP is trying to disenfranchise you. Call your Rep. - demand they oppose the SAVE Act.

This is much more than a budget cut. This is a death sentence for thousands of people across the U.S.

Nobody should be disappeared from the streets of Somerville – or anywhere in America.

Everyone should be alarmed by the video of Rumesya Ozturk being handcuffed and taken away by agents. The government must immediately release her.

🧵With 19 near-total abortion bans in the country- more states are making use of tools like shield laws to protect providers to out-of-state patients, but there's more we can do. Cassie Lehr of @reachfundct.bsky.social and Liz Gustafson of @reproequitynow.bsky.social have solutions: nnaf.org/d
Opinion: Abortion providers need appreciation, protection, support
CT's shield law does not protect telehealth reproductive health providers —leaving doctors who may want to help out-of-state patients unable to do so.

In addition to normal mayor stuff, like announcing how many potholes have been filled, how many apartments made affordable, Wu's State of the City speech is a rebuke of Washington.

NEW POLL: MA Voters Support Abortion Throughout Pregnancy! 📢

📊 66% of MA voters support expanding #abortion access after 24 weeks of pregnancy based on the professional judgement of a licensed physician.

If 50+ years of doing this work has taught us anything, it’s that storytelling is a POWERFUL tool in fighting stigma & advocating for access.

Have a story about being an abortion care patient or provider?

Today, the New Hampshire House voted to withdraw a bill that would ban abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

This could not have happened without the 12,000+ NH residents that took action to publicly oppose the bill.

Last week, 12,000+ NH residents publicly opposed a 15-week abortion ban.

Since then, the bill’s sponsor Rep. Katy Peternel (R) moved to withdraw the legislation.

On Thursday, the NH House will vote to support, or not support, that motion to withdraw. Here's how you can help move the needle:

The fight for reproductive equity and LGBTQ rights are the same fight. We must stand up to ensure access to dignified health care for every person.
